"THE UNIQUENESS OF GRIEF, part 1"

Grief Share is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside
you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go
through the grieving process alone.
The death of someone you were close to can be a difficult experience.
Christians are able to claim an eternal perspective and can rejoice that
the person who died is now in the presence of their creator. Even so, as
humans, we grieve a loss so deep and significant.

Grief Share is a support group that combines educational videos with a
group discussion that allows participants to share the common experience
of the death and the grieving process.

For more information, please call the church office at (229) 924-9035.
If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, please consider joining us.

 Candlelight service information below--------------------

Grief Share plans a Candlelight Memorial Service at First Baptist Church on Sunday of each Memorial Day week-end.  It will be a quiet service of devotion, prayer and music that will allow us to reflect and remember the depth of our love for our departed ones and the impact of their lives on us.  If you would like to participate in this service for 2011, please let us know so that we can prepare and designate a candle for you.  Call the church office at the number above, or call Ann Beaver at 229-924-7652.
