Connie serves First Baptist Church Americus as Senior Administrative and Ministry Assistant for Finance and Human Resources, supporting daily operations, staff care, financial administration, and ministry coordination. She helps maintain office records, supports human resources processes such as onboarding, payroll, personnel records, and policy administration, and assists with budgeting, financial reporting, deposits, reimbursements, and stewardship procedures. Connie also supervises kitchen staff, supports fellowship meals and special events, and helps coordinate prayer communications, funeral planning, and outreach efforts such as the birthday card ministry for senior adult members. Through her organization, discretion, and servant-hearted support, she strengthens both the administrative life and ministry mission of the church.

Connie brings decades of faithful administrative, financial, and operational experience that strengthens ministry at First Baptist Church Americus. With more than fifty years in office management, bookkeeping, financial reporting, scheduling, records management, and customer relations, she offers a steady and dependable presence in the daily work of the church. Her long service equips her to support church leaders, staff, volunteers, and members with efficiency, discretion, and care.

Her experience in financial administration, office coordination, vendor relations, and front-office service helps create order, accountability, and a welcoming environment for the life of the church. By reconciling accounts, processing payments, preparing correspondence, managing schedules, and maintaining accurate records, Connie supports the church’s mission with care and consistency. Through her attention to detail, reliability, and servant-hearted professionalism, she helps provide the organizational strength that allows ministry to flourish and people to be served well.

Connie and her husband, James, have shared 58 years of marriage and the blessing of a loving family that includes their children, Ron, Angel, and De, along with eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
