A morning made for being JoyUs, catching up, sharing stories, fellowship, and enjoying a delicious brunch together. This event is free of charge. A love offering is taken to offset the cost. Carol Ann Knight is our speaker. 

Carol Ann Knight has been a child of God for nearly 46 years. Raised in the small farming community of Bluffton, Ga, she grew up surrounded by a large, loving family. Her journey brought her to Americus for college where she gained a few valuable life lessons: not to navigate one-way streets, the power of lifelong friendships, and that Tommy Knight was the best-looking guy around! In 1989, Carol Ann married Tommy, son of legendary GSW Baseball coach Godfrey Knight, and they have been blessed with two amazing daughters, two wonderful son-in-laws, and five of the most precious grandchildren you will ever meet. 

Professionally, Carol Ann serves as the Principal of Jefferson Middle School, leading a vibrant campus of over 1,000 students and 100 dedicated teachers. She knows firsthand that with great blessings come real-life challenges--from mad parents and stressed teachers to the general chaos of a busy world. In every season, she chooses to anchor her heart in Philippians 4:8, focusing her mind on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.

Carol Ann is thrilled to be back in Americus at First Baptist to dig into God’s Word with us and discover how living JoyUs can transform our lives!

Note: We need volunteers to decorate/sponsor a table. This would involve decorating it with your chosen theme. All plates, napkins, utensils, etc. will be provided.
